When she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in November of 1982, she was motivated to learn and become involved in art. She took calligraphy classes and painting classes which led her to begin experimenting with various mediums of her own. Denice works in acrylics, pastels, pen \u0026amp; ink, pencil, and scratchboard. Ultimately her MS diagnosis is what began her art journey and made her the artist she is today.
