A favorite place for Jon to gather material for his paintings is the Kishacoquillas Valley in Central Pennsylvania. “No Sunday Fishing” was painted from an Amish farm along Kishacoquillas creek. the Amish allow you to fish on their land, but because of their religious convictions they don’t allow fishing on the sabbath.
