About us
Jon Crane Gallery
Sometimes people need a trail guide—or a trail blazer. For more than 25 years, Jon Crane Gallery & Custom Framing has served as a portal into the Black Hills, and we are proud to host the best "guides" around. Jon leads a pack of artistic visionaries whose work is showcased in the gallery. We begin with his renowned watercolors—depicting rural America and farmhouse scenes—and add a variety of sculpture, hand-built furniture, pottery, and wall art, making the gallery the place to start your artistic trek.

And don't forget our Custom Picture Frameshop, uniquely sought by our clients. Our specialty is to create designs that enhance and complement images without overwhelming or distracting from the artwork. The owner and lead framer, Lori Nonnast, has over 30 years of experience in the design and framing industry. But she does more than that. With handmade Edison light fixtures, interior design, and other unexpected bits of décor, Lori can inspire your every whim—whether you're into rustic barnwood or ornate sophistication. Express yourself with beautiful art and framing from the Jon Crane Gallery.
