Jon has painted this old farmhouse in two other scenes--"Home for Christmas" and "Last Song of Summer" seen along the Hill City/Keystone Road. This image was inspired by the tenacity of the giant cottonwood leaning in the front yard. The great tree finally fell in 2017.
