In May of 1990, Jon, along with friend Don Theye, paid a visit to the farmhouse near Barry, Illinois, while traveling between shows in Chicago and Tulsa. After an enjoyable evening with Bernie Keller and Gary Main, who owned and worked the farm respectively, they were on the location at first light. And what light it was.... perfect for “Heartland Spring”, the third in the “Heartland Series.”
