The historic Roseman Bridge in Madison County, Iowa was the inspiration for an internationally known movie in the 1990s. Located on the Middle River about 8 miles southwest of Winterset, IA, the bridge is 107 feet long and was built in 1883. While many famous legends and local folklore exist, the simple beauty of this red, covered bridge and wild sunflowers is story enough for romance and a "Creekside Serenade".
