Decorated for the holidays, the D.C. Booth House is captured in all its splendor by Jon Crane in this 2011 painting of “The D.C. Booth Home”. Built in 1905 for the first superintendent of the fish hatchery in Spearfish, South Dakota, the beautiful house resides on the grounds of the D. C. Booth National Fish Hatchery and is the host of many weddings and events throughout the summer. Jon also painted “Preserving the Past” as the second piece of the Historic National Fish Hatchery in 2012.
