Jon frequently hikes the Mickelson Trail and on this summer morning was inspired by the infusion of wildflowers. The native wood rose also known as mountain rose or wild rose, can be found in most places in the Black Hills. This "Trail of Roses" leads to an abandoned log cabin near the Mystic Trailhead.
