When Jon was a kid, he spent many of his summers with his Uncle Bud and Aunt Louise near Arlington, Vermont, where his favorite pastime was fishing the small brooks for trout. This dairy farm was just across the border in New York near North Hoosic. Jon’s son Adam posed for him so he could add a boy and dog to “A Great Day to be a Kid.”
