Recently long time friend Marty DeWitt, who is superintendent of
Palisades State Park near Sioux Falls, informed Jon that he had the wrong river in “Song of the Sioux”. OOPS! It is actually Split Rock Creek, which is a tributary of the Big Sioux. Jon and Gail often camp in this beautiful park when they are attending events in the area.
